Jazz ConcertsThe concluding program in the six concert series of Great Music for Young Ears was held in late April - early May 2023. As before, programs were presented at Hodgin and Alamosa Elementary schools and at the Public Academy for the Performing Arts (PAPA). The subject was “Early Jazz” and featured performances based on the Music of the “Hot Club of Paris” stars, Django Reinhardt, guitar and Stephane Grappelli, violin, in the 1930s. Selections included, After You’ve Gone, Minor Swing, Summertime, Sweet Lorraine, and Oh, Lady Be Good.
