Impressionism in Music and ArtIn the fifth of six programs in the “Great Music For Young Ears” series, the subject was Impressionism in Music and Art. These programs were presented at Hodgin and Alamosa Elementary Schools and PAPA (Public Academy for the Performing Arts). The music included compositions by Debussy and Ibert performed by Anna Hamrick, harp, Jennifer Lau, flute and Priscilla Hallberg, violin, accompanied by a slide show of art by Monet, Renoir, Degas and Rousseau among others. These programs have been made possible by funding from New Mexico Arts and the Music Guild of New Mexico. |
