Arthur Meyerson Workshop

March 03, 2019

I attended a Photographic Workshop at the famous Santa Fe Workshops. Arthur Meyerson, my instructor, is an acclaimed photographer and teacher particularly famous in the area of color photography. In the weeklong session we class members were treated to Meyerson's "Photography Tools"--concepts that guided his own photography over the years. His teaching illustrated the tools in his own photos as well as demonstrating their presence or non-presence in our class assignments. My photos are represented in my "Meyerson Workshop" gallery. One of my location discoveries was the Dwan Light Sanctuary near Las Vegas, NM. It is a very unusual and picturesque structure with large light prisms built into the walls projecting color spectrums on the interior walls. Meyerson Workshop-14Meyerson Workshop-14Light Spectrum
